Logging at Torsboda Nord has started

To make the land on the north side of E4 ready for pre-sale, Torsboda Industrial Park is now harvesting forest on Torsboda Nord.

Olof Nyberg is the Chief Operating Officer at Torsboda Industrial Park and works with the coordination of the infrastructure works that are being done to develop the industrial park.

- The logging work on Nord starts with the clearing of silt and smaller trees and then moves on to felling, says Olof Nyberg. By the end of March, logging is expected to be fully completed but weather and snow conditions may affect the schedule.

Interest in the North

The logging at Torsboda Nord is part of the work to make the surface ready for sale. The mission of Torsboda Industrial Park is to attract companies that contribute to the green transition and that provide many jobs per square meter and megawatt. Business developer Cain Dotson says that several companies have shown interest in Torsboda.

“Having land that is as ready as possible for incumbents is obviously a competitive advantage so it's good that logging is now up and running,” says Cain Dotson. This brings us one step closer to a fully developed industrial park, which we aim to be by 2033.
